I am conducting a national study about advocacy in the school library
profession.

 

If you haven't done so already, please take a few moments to participate
in this short anonymous survey about the advocacy behaviors of school
library professionals. The survey will be open until tomorrow, Friday,

Advocacy Behaviors of School Library Professionals

 

 

Dear Participant,

I am an Assistant Librarian at Arizona State University's Fletcher
Library. 

I am conducting a research study to investigate the advocacy behaviors
of school library professionals. I am inviting your participation, which
will involve completing an online survey. The survey will take
approximately 15-20 minutes to fill out. 

Your participation in this study is voluntary. You can skip questions if
you wish. You may choose not to participate or to withdraw from the
study at any time. You must be 18 or older to participate in the study.

Your responses to the survey will be used to discover how school library
professionals advocate for the profession, library services to students,
and education in general. There are no foreseeable risks or discomforts
to your participation.

Your responses will be anonymous. The results of this study may be used
in reports, presentations, or publications but your name will not be
known. 

If you have any questions concerning the research study, please contact

questions about your rights as a subject/participant in this research,
or if you feel you have been placed at risk, you can contact the Chair
of the Human Subjects Institutional Review Board, through the ASU

Completion of the survey will be considered your consent to participate.
