Another great reason to be in Maine!

The Maine Libraries Conference 08 will be held in Beautiful Bethel, Maine, on  
October 23 & 24, 2008.  
  
  If you live nearby or will be visiting our state, you are invited to register  
and attend this conference. 
  
  Featured will be: authors Rob Shetterly,  Ellen Wittlinger, Kate Braestrup, 
Cynthia Lord, Melissa Sweet,   and a panel of YA authors - Judith Bourassa Joy, 
Carrie Jones, Maria Padian, and Kelly McClymer
  Some Cool workshops:  "Become an International librarian" and  "Getting started 
in Second Life"
  Some practical workshops - For the conservators among us: Abraham Schecter's  
"Don't be Unhinged! Book Repair" workshop is always popular and is  limited to the 
first twenty-five  who sign up. 
  
  If you live near Maine or will be in Maine, MLC08 will be a  great way to Renew, 
Reconnect, and Refresh.
