Dear Wise Ones, I have this idea about starting a high school reading program that would involve teens learning to do storytimes with young children. Struggling teen readers would enhance their own reading ability while sharing great readalouds with their siblings and with the children in our on-site day care program. I thought I had read about programs like this--I don't think I made this up--but I'm having trouble finding any research or similar program within a public school. Do any of you know where I could look for information? Research? Facts and figures to back me up? Experience with something like this? I appreciate your help.
