I am wondering if there is a better way to shelve my state book sets.
Presently the sets are together with books arranged alphabetically by
state. The problem is that the call numbers do not reflect where they
are located so there is confusion when using the automated card catalog.
I've been thinking of keeping them as they are and adding to the
beginning of the call number to indicate the set. I have also heard that
some elementary media centers leave the call numbers as they are so they
are shelved by state name. Any thoughts?
