Greetings! Registration for Teen Read Week, YALSA's annual literacy initiative, ends this Friday! Register by Friday at www.ala.org/teenread. Teen Read Week will be celebrated Oct. 12-18 in thousands of libraries across the United States, with a theme of Books with Bite @ your library. Those who register will also receive freebies and benefits from the Teen Read Week corporate sponsor and promotional partners. Among many benefits, the first 1,000 registrants in September will receive a complimentary poster for the new film "The Secret Life of Bees." All registrants will be eligible for drawings for free books from Zest Books and Mirrorstone.
