Hey there -
I am looking for suggestions for sturdy CD players that I can check out to kids to
go along with our books on CD. I got a grant for these last year and I bought 30,
but only about 18 are usable and of these, half require major tweaking in order for
them to work.
We have lots of books on CD, and since we have a high ELL population this is a
crucial part of our reading program, but I'd love it if the players I got would
last longer. I have thought about the play-aways, but a)they are really pricey and
it would be a major hardship for many of our parents to pay for replacements b)my
budget this year is terrible anyway, and c)we have several hundred books on CD.
Thoughts?
