A teacher in our district sent out this request. Does it sound familiar to anyone? As a child, I remember reading a chapter book about a Dutch girl who had to escape to her roof (I think she had a pet goat or cow up on the roof with her) when the sea came over the dikes and flooded her home. I thought the children could connect on several levels with this book. Does anyone know the title or author of this book?
