Thank you for all the responses to Lisa's question about Kindle. However, I didn't
see anyone comment on whether you could skim very well with it. Is there enough of
a page showing to scan quickly with your eyes? I found reading on my PDA was next
to impossible because my eyes like to scan at times rather than erad every
word/line of text. I am excited to hear from any of you lovers of the Kindle
because I was quite encouraged by the largely positive response. I thought Amazon
had not had very brisk sales.

Colleagues,
I am trying to make a decision whether to buy a Kindle or not for personal use. I
checked in the archives and there doesn't seem to be any current information about
the eBook reader there for me to read.

So here is my question, for those of you who have been brave and already purchased
either a Kindle or some other eBook Reader, was it worth the money? Is it a
purchase you would do again? Have there been any problems that came up? Are they
as easy to use as the commercial makes them sound? Any help you can provide would
be great. I will be happy to post a hit if I get any replies.

Thanks in advance for any guidance that can be provided.

Lisa
