I loved Breaking Dawn! It had several unexpected twists, and everyone I
have talked to so far thought it was great. It is a bit more gory than
previous books, but they are already labeled YA in my library, and I
still feel it is okay for middle school.

Subject: Bluford High and Breaking Dawn

A two-parter:

1. Do you feel that the Bluford High series would be appropriate for a
middle school library? I've had a few girls ask about them and they've
even been included in our book fairs from Scholastic. I haven't read
any of the titles and was curious.

2. I haven't yet read Breaking Dawn but I've seen a few bad reviews.
Entertainment Weekly gave it a D, I believe. I've also seen some
headlines about backlash from a lot of fans of the series. WITHOUT
SPOILERS, what do those of you who have read it think about it?

Thanks in advance for any responses!
