Has anyone who does Dibels testing noticed a drop in reading comprehension since the focus of the Dibels was on reading quickly for so long? Now the Dibels has a retelling component, but it didn't start out that way. Some of our teachers are saying that the kids can read quickly but their comprehension is not as strong as it used to be. I am interested in your comments.
