Sandy's explanation was so pertinent that I was motivated to immediately send an email to my representative. I went to the ALA Washington Office website http://capwiz.com/ala/home/ and used the Legislative Action Center since it has my information and a sample wording of a letter all ready. I was even able to upload my photo to the letter so the staffers can say, "Oh, yeah, we remember the school library lady with red hair." I customized my letter at the beginning, and it still took under 3 minutes to do. I hope all of you think our profession and our students worthy of your time to do this today. Thanks for letting me chime in. Diane Diane R. Chen Library Information Specialist -- John F.
