I'm doing some Internet orientation for 9th graders next week. The
process will be so much more effective now that a Smartboard has been
installed in the lab. I am having the students look at Dogpile.com as
an example of a metasearch engine. As I was going through my worksheet
questions to make sure there weren't any changes from what I had done
last year, I typed Dogile.com by accident. It didn't take me to an
adult site, but I was definitely looking at some hyperlinks that I
wouldn't want them exploring.
