Hi everyone, I'm looking for input from any school that has switched from Microsoft Office to Open Office. Our district decided to switch to the Open Office instead of upgrading to Office 2007 because of the free vs. $21,000 price tag. I've used the Word and Excel versions of Open Office and was ok with them in the pinch but I was wondering if there were any other little "nuances" that we should think about before investing our time and efforts in the switch. We know we have to upgrade from our old Office 2000 because our students are coming in with newer versions that we can't open up. TIA for any info you can give me. Tammy L.
