[LM_NET] TARGET: High School Formal Book Challenge

A parent just submitted a formal book challenge for the title
"Texasville" by Larry McMurtry.

 

If you are a HS library media specialist and have "Texasville" on your
shelf list please let me know why you have chosen to include that title.
My administration is trying to get a feel for the overall popularity of
this title in HS library media centers and why other school library
media specialists have chosen to have the title in their collection.

 

Mascoma HS is located in Canaan, New Hampshire with a student population
of 470 students, grades 9-12.

 

Thanks in advance for your help and support. After I compile the results
of this posting I will post to the LM_Net Archive.
