German Immersion Teachers Position Description: The Twin Cities German Immersion School is accepting applications for full time licensed German Immersion teachers at the elementary and middle school levels. Elementary teachers will work in a self-contained classroom while middle level teachers specialize in specific disciplines. All teaching content is delivered in German. Candidates should have native language ability in reading, writing, and speaking. This is a general advertisement for the 2009-2010 school year. You will be contacted if selected for an interview. We’re looking for passionate, dedicated and resourceful candidates who are supportive of the charter school concept; knowledgeable of full immersion instructional techniques; committed to delivering high quality curriculum using best practices; and able to connect and build positive relationships with students and parents. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA; valid Minnesota elementary or middle level teaching license or teaching certification from a German‐speaking country and eligible to possess a MN license; and fluent in German at native level.
