I do send a beginning of the school year letter and an electronic version is sent
by e-mail in what we call our electronic backpack.
I include the general curriculum for k-8 grade broken up pre-k through
kindergarten, 1st through 4th and 5th through 8th. The circulation policy. Hours of
the library. A report of highlights from the previous year... what won the Irma
Black Award, author's visits etc, perhaps a collection development point like did
you know we have audio books or check out the new Spanish language section, and an
invitation to e-mail or meet with me with contact information.
I use the newsletter format in MS Publisher
