As a new librarian, I would love to hear ideas about how the kiddos should enter the library when they are arriving for a class. What are your rules? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Holly Gillum" <exlibrishg@YAHOO.COM> To: <LM_NET@LISTSERV.SYR.EDU> Sent: Tuesday, August 04, 2009 8:00 PM Subject: Re: What to Read First Week of School I usually start with either The Library Dragon by Carmen Agra Deedy or The Librarian From the Black Lagoon - Mike Thayer. I have the plush library dragon and a bobble head and huge picture of Ms. Beamster from the Black Lagoon. They are fun books and they give me a chance to explain my expectations and library rules as we go. hg Holly Gillum, LMS Anderson Elementary Crossett, AR 71635 exlibrishg@yahoo.com "Reading gives you some place to go when you have to stay where you are." ~Mason Cooley -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
