I agree!  It is frustrating to order a book and, upon reading it, discover it is 
inappropriate for our students for one or more of the reasons you mentioned.  Like 
many of us, our budget is tight enough that I lament every dollar spent on a title 
I cannot keep and which could have been used for more acceptable materials.
