TAR: pros/cons Follett Destiny


The six schools in my district are still using Follet
Circ Plus Cat Plus and we also subscribe to MARC Wizard. I've just
gotten an amazing/hard-to-pass-up quote from the software rep and
Destiny really seems great. With Title I/Stimulus money, now seems the
time to really press for the new software.   Before the librarians in my
district make the presentation to our Principals, Superintendent, Tech.
Director, and Board, I'd love to hear from you to see what positives
and negatives you've experienced with Destiny. How was the upgrade? Any
major glitches? Do your parents, teachers, and students use it from
home to place holds and check holdings? What about interlibrary loans
among your district? Do you have your school's student information management 
system integrated with Destiny? Any info you feel I should know about Destiny
would be greatly appreciated!
