Thanks for sharing, but I will still give more credence to witnessing first hand a 
wonderful science teacher making atoms, cells, forces and other things come alive 
for students by using an IWB.  Like any tool, it's not the tool itself but the way 
it's used that makes the difference.  We have several math teachers who are making 
great use of the WB as well.

The list also mentions little student involvement, which is not necessarily the 
case, as well as some other things that are not true in our district (and tell them 
to check the spelling of "effects")





lease see this link.  I think it lets us clearly see through the
ovelty and rightly grasp the mediocrity of the Smartboard as an
nstructional tool.
