I don't usually ask for help like this, but it is a good opportunity to
trumpet librarians!  My 7th-grade son is doing a project where each student
is assigned a state (he was excited to get Texas) and is supposed to send
requests to various people, agencies, etc. for "stuff" related to the
state.  They are having a contest to see which class can accumulate the
most.  If anyone in Texas would be willing, could you please send him a
postcard, small trinket, brochure, etc. that has to do with Texas?  He will
be most happy to let everyone know that the librarians helped him--Mom has
trained him well!!  Please include contact info if possible, too, so I can
send my personal thanks.
