I'm writing a grant for a graphic novel club next year and one of the things I want to do is give the students the opportunity to write and illustrate their own graphic novel (either through their own drawings, collaborating with other students, or using free comic generators online). Once they are finished, I want to have the graphic novels bound so they can have it to keep. We have a comb-binding machine, so that's an option, but I'd like these to look as much like "real" books as possible. I've checked with my local Office Depot, but they only provide comb or ring binding, not the "perfect binding." Do any of you have recommendations for good quality, relatively inexpensive sources where we could have this done? Thanks! I will post a hit.
