[LM_NET] SEC: Research topic for 12th English

Hi all,
Our 12th grade English teacher is looking for a new research topic  
for her students to do next semester.  They have done British  
authors, the British isles, monarchs, British history topics.  We  
would like something different that would be both creative and  
research based.  Any good suggestions I might pass along to her?  Thanks
