[LM_NET] TAR: Brent Weeks' The Way of the Shadows (Night Angel Trilogy Assassins Series)

I have had a student request for the Night Angel Trilogy series by Brent Weeks.  
Reading the reviews I've come across, I can see why the student would like to read 
them-they sound really good.   I'm a little concerned about how explicit they may 
be.  The author confronts grim realities-child abuse, prostitution, etc., and the 
main character is an assassin.   Follett has these at the adult level.    We have 
other books in our library on this level, but I can't find reviews that really let 
me know if the books are edgy but appropriate or really too explicit and not for 
the high school library.

If you've got these books in your library, or have read them and can give input, 
I'd appreciate it.
