Before starting on my next career as a librarian, I used to be a HS economics 
teacher. This weekend, Dr. Paul Samuelson died. His was the most important 
economics textbook of the 20th century, and is still in print in its 19th edition. 
Below is an article from USAToday - the NY Times has a longer obit written at a
