[LM_NET] TAR Middle: How Does Your School Improve ELL Reading Scores?

Dear LM_Netters,

Our middle school is searching for curriculum materials and strategies for
teaching our ELL kiddos to be better readers. From a librarian's
perspective, I'm hoping to provide suggestions and buy books that focus on
Latino/multicultural themes, but are at a lower Lexile (300-500) level. If
you have any suggestions for the following, please reply:

1. Curriculum materials delivered within a six-week time frame
2. Strategies for a six-week time frame
3. Hi/Low book titles with Latino themes
