Thanks to everyone who participated in our Barnes & Noble book fair. I
was hoping to get our final total before I reported back, but I can tell
you that our "unofficial" total sales amounted to $453.41, which will give
our library a gift card for about $68.00.
I realize it's not a lot, but it's $68.00 we didn't have before we did the
book fair. I feel like I've learned a lot in the process and will
probably schedule it again next year. I think if folks know to expect it
annually, we can possibly increase our sales, building on what we started
this year.
I have decided that any time I make Barnes & Noble purchases, I will be
sure to ask if there are any book fairs being held that day. It doesn't
cost me a dime and will benefit a library or school somewhere.
