[LM_NET] Target: Need Help to ID Library Video

Hello group,
 
I am trying to figure out the name of a video that I watched in the late 90s in 
middle school about library research. The movie features a high school boy whose 
teacher asks him if he wants to teach the class after his continued disruption. The 
boy then spends the entire afternoon and evening in his school library, researching 
and preparing to teach the class the next day. Pivotal scene: after rooting around 
for and finally finding a dime to make a photocopy (under the vending machine), he 
throws it across the library from where he is hiding from the security guard, where 
it lands perfectly in the copier. The next day in class he sets up and easel and 
paints until his teacher asks if he wants to teach the class... and he does.
 
This sound familiar to anyone? I would love to be able to find this.
