[LM_NET] TECH: MARC record help

I'm trying to get rid of the Reading Counts 526 tags in my records because
they conflict with the Accelerated Reader tags. Usually it will let me
delete them just fine, but on single records here and there it will give
me an error message and won't let me save the file. I called tech support
and they told me that those records "needed" a tag there and I wouldn't be
able to get rid of it. That is just total nonsense. Anyone have an idea of
what to do? I'm working in Alexandria.
