I am in the middle of reading Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara
Kingsolver.
It is different, non-fiction, but actually quite good. It is about living
self sufficiently off the land in your immediate region.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, etc.

I just finished "Catching Fire" by Suzanne Collins, the 2nd book in the
Hunger Games trilogy; anxiously awaiting August when the 3rd book is due!
Also reading A.J. Jacobs'"The Guinea Pig Diaries: My Life as an Experiment"
- I can't get enough of this crazy guy and his wonderfully wacky ideas! He
also wrote "The Know-It All" (read the entire Encyclopedia Britannica) and
"The Year of Living Biblically" or something like that, where he attempted
to follow all the "rules" of the bible - his outlook on life is quirky and
hilarious, IMHO!!!

Merry Christmas to all!

I just finished listening to "Every Soul a Star" by Wendy Mass. I just
started listening to "The Rules of Survival" by Nancy Werlin. I hope to get
to (audio) "If I Stay" by Gayle Forman, "Firegirl" by Tony Abbott.

I am reading "Love You Hate You Miss You" by Elizabeth Scott. I am hoping to
get to "Sent" by Margaret Peterson Haddix, "Becoming Chloe" by Catherine
Ryan Hyde, "Leviathan" by Scott Westerfeld, "The Mondtrumologist" by William
James Henry, "Everwild" by Neal Shusterman.

That's my line up for now. Who knows how many I'll actually get to.
I am being extremely optimistic! =]

Just wondering what you're all planning to read over the holidays.

I'm delving into Iain Pears' 'An Instance of the Fingerpost' since the third
'Girl with...' of Larsson's trilogy won't be released until spring in this
country. Bummer.
