Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (for the third time -- it's on
my list of ten top books I have EVER read)

South of Broad (also again) by Pat Conroy -- despite mixed reviews (meaning
goods and bads in the same review), I thought this was wonderful reading
with magnificent, delicious use of the language and a surprise ending

Alex Cross's Trial was another Paterson novel but it should be required
reading for every senior high student taking 20th century US history, civil
rights history, or African American history -- sure, it's fiction, but it
probably isn't far from the truth -- hit me hard

Three new non-fiction works on integrating technology into the media program
and into the classroom curriculum . . . more on these later . . .
