I am currently reading: "Affair to Remember, An: The Remarkable Love Story Of Katharine Hepburn And Spencer Tracy" by Christopher Andersen And " Loving Frank: A Novel" by Nancy Horan. I simply can't put either one down!! Have a wonderful holiday!! Mary Beth Roche, MIS Library Director Allied Medical & Technical Institute 517 Ash Street Scranton, PA 18509 570-558-1818 Ext. 1927 Fax 570-342-4537 MRoche@edaff.com The approach of Christmas brings harassment and dread to many excellent people. They have to buy a cart-load of presents, and they never know what to buy to hit the various tastes; they put in three weeks of hard and anxious work, and when Christmas morning comes they are so dissatisfied with the result, and so disappointed that they want to sit down and cry. Then they give thanks that Christmas comes but once a year. -Mark Twain -----Original Message----- From: School Library Media & Network Communications [mailto:LM_NET@LISTSERV.SYR.EDU] On Behalf Of Doug Bancks Sent: Wednesday, December 23, 2009 9:06 AM To: LM_NET@LISTSERV.SYR.EDU Subject: SHARE : Reading over Christmas I am almost finished with Confessions of a Radical Industrialist: Profits, People, Purpose--Doing Business by Respecting the Earth by Ray Anderson. Terrific story, one that brings hope. "In 1994, Interface founder and chairman Ray Anderson set an audacious goal for his commercial carpet company: to take nothing from the earth that can't be replaced by the earth. Now, in the most inspiring business book of our time, Anderson leads the way forward and challenges all of industry to share that goal."
