Over th past week I have been troubled by the messages agout holiday gifts.
I was sad to view how un happy people librarians were and how frustrated at
their lowly estate. My heart went out to these people I did not know how
to express this, then this morning I heard a story on NPR. I became even
moare sad as I realized that there are many looking at a half-filled glass,
not taking joy and satisfaction from the joy they bring to children every
day. Yes, most of our works are unreacognized and yes we all need to carry
the message of the important role you all play, but be of good cheer,
rejoyce in what you do.

Have a happy holiday and a fulfilling new year. Now here is the link to the
NPR story. The excerpt from Wind in the Willows is great also.
