Besides being appalled by the loss of this library when I first read this
story a few months back I wondered what the parents of this private school
thought of seeing over $400,000 of their money being thrown out (a very
rough estimate of the worth of a 20,000 title collection) and another
$500,000 being spent on technology that will be outdated in five years. I'm
surprised the parents haven't fired the headmaster for gross mismanagement
of school funds.
