[LM_NET] Looking around...

I need to change wireless phone service for my modem. I was ready to by
Verizon's hot spot modem tonight but they do not want to work with me until
April because of my existing contract for a single computer modem. I don't
want to start a negative strain of posts to the list but would love to know
if anyone has a wireless modem or has a wireless phone and likes their
provider. I was ready to buy both a phone for my daughter and a modem for
myself but was not able to do so due to contracts that are not up yet
resulting in overpriced products. I can post a hit if there is interest, but
am wondering if there is such a thing as a customer-friendly company for my
modem and for my daughter and her phone. I am tied to AT&T for my iPhone and
they seem about like everyone else though I have not had a specific problem
with them. Oh and...has anyone been able to lodge a complaint with a company
and get results? It just seems like in a recession, these companies would
want to be a bit more people friendly. Again, do respond to me personally.
