When I was in Library school at Pratt back in the late 60s, they taught us about SSD- the selective dissemination of information. This meant that we should make sure that pieces of information that we came across should be sent to those who might be interested in them. So I regularly sent items by paper or email to my principals and even district supervisors. The principals and administrators appreciated these items and even followed up with me on some of them.I passed this information onto my successor when I retired but have no idea whether she followed up on it.Happy New Year to all!
