One more hit to the reading assessment question for high school students:

 

Here we use the COMPASS (from the ACT people) as our placement test, which
includes some diagnostics in comprehension and vocabulary (and in our
experience, the comprehension score is a much better predictor of success
than the vocabulary); some of the teachers also use the Nelson-Denny with
our pre-college-level classes.
