I hope everyone had a great New Year!! We started back to work (or school) today. My middle school has grades 6-8. My LA teachers are looking for a "new angle" in using fairy tale books in their classrooms. In the past they've taught the elements (setting, theme, etc.)in the way we all highlight those points, but is there a fun different way to teach the basics? Or do they pick out something unusual from the fairy tales to teach? The teachers want to mix it up this time. Have you done or seen your teachers put a new twist on fairy tales? I will post a hit if I get responses. I hope your coming year is very lucky!!! Pat Hoppe, MLS Lincoln MS Colorado Springs, CO marbeth2@aol.com ************** New year...new news.
