I stumbled across this ...go to the site below. look on left side .you
will see a long list of the states' award books. click on your choice of
our awards.... click on the book title...in bottom lower right you will see
what other states and yeas used this as a book for their reading
award...altho no link to the states' book award you could always "search
engine ot (of your choice)" to find the site to see if any activities /
ideas exist.

Louisiana has the Young Reader's Choice Award. Currently there is an award for
grades 3-5 and one for 6-8, but they are planning to institute a YA award next year.
