[LM_NET] ELEM: WWII or aviation books

The father of one of our teachers recently past away and in his memory a few books 
will be donated to the school library. Since he was a pilot (and POW) in WWII, she 
would like the books to either be about aviation or WWII. I am not real aware of 
what is out there on these topics. If you know of any titles that would be 
appropriate for elementary age students, please let me know.
