I work for Madison City Schools, Madison, Alabama. Most of our elementary media specialists are using a mostly fixed or totally fixed schedule. We are trying to shift to a flexible schedule and know the benefits. However, as with any major change, we are expected to have examples of how it has been successful in other schools. We also need examples of some schedules and how to ensure that teachers are going to be accountable for utilizing the media center. Please give me any advice or suggestions that you may have. We REALLY want to change and need some examples of how it can be successful! We are a pretty technological advanced system but we can't get as involved as we would like due to our schedule limitations.
