Original TARGET:

I'm putting together a volunteer recognition night for my school's
volunteers. I plan on giving out a small gift of appreciation. Last
year I gave out little bags of peppermint patties with a label reading
"Woodland's Volunteers are Cool." I'm looking for different
candy/saying suggestions to use this year.

Thanks to all who responded! These are the suggestions I received:

- Same type of thing "...worth a mint" and use Andes mints or similar.
or worth $100,000 with candy bar of that name. Go to LM_Net archives
http://www.eduref.org/lm_net/archive/ and search teacher appreciation
to get many good ideas.

- We have usesd 100 Grand candy bars with the slogan "You are worth
$100,000 (or One Hundred Grand).

- How about — "Volunteers are lifesavers" and pass out lifesavers .
. . .

- You are worth your weight in gold.....gold wrapped candies.
butterscotch, kisses, etc.

- My volunteer's are worth a $100,000$ (100,000 candy bar)

- Volunteering is no laughing matter ... THANK YOU or YOU ARE
APPRECIATED(Snicker's)

- You are out of this world (Mars)

- You are a Life Saver (Livesavers)

- Can't give you an actual paycheck but here is a Payday instead
(Payday candybar)

- Hugs and Kisses to the best Volunteers (Hersey's Kisses & Hersey's
Hugs)
