We have searched MLA handbook and can not find a definitive answer on how to cite a photograph from a book. I am guessing you will need all the information about the book and also credit to the photographer if that can be found. Can someone tell us the specific format for crediting a photograph published in a nonfiction book? What about if the photographer is not listed anywhere? Thanks very much. We have juniors that are really trying to cite properly and we want to encourage that. Ann Jantzen, Media Specialist South Central Jr. Sr. H.S. 6675 E.
