I am betting that the CPSC would like their phones to stop ringing about an exemption for libraries and lead in our books. Testing has shown that there is not measurable lead; the toy/book combos are the real target. Thanks to all who called or e-mailed. Sara The Action paid off. It has just been announced at ALA Council that early next week the Commission will put a hold on the issue of lead in books while they investigate the issue. Sylvia K.
