At the 2009 ALA Annual Conference this month, all school, public, and reference librarians are invited to attend the program “The Best of the Best from the University Presses: Books You Should Know About" *Sunday, July 12th, 1:30 pm –3pm, at McCormick Center West, Room 194B. *TO BE TAPED LIVE BY C-SPAN2 for BOOKTV! Learn about great books for your library, and get a chance to win some, too! University presses represent an often-undiscovered gold mine of resources for libraries. At this program, AASL and PLA-division librarians will introduce recent titles they have found to be "The Best" for a variety of reasons. Come discover 21 book titles from a variety of subjects and university press publishers.
