[LM_NET] ELEM: Howard County MD newbie lesson plans for the beginning of the year

I had paper copies of the beginning of the year lessons for grades K-5 found
at www.howard.k12.md.us/met/media/newbie/lessons that I used four years ago
when I was new at previous school.  I have misplaced the lessons in the
midst of all of the materails I brought home with me.  One week of sorting
and they did not turn up.  I know some of the books were *The Library Dragon
* by Carmen Deedy, an Adam Joshua story about stealing a Superman book  by
Janice Lee Smith, *Tell me some more* by Crosby Newell Bonsall and *Owen* by
Kevin Henkes.  These lessons covered the first 4 weeks of  school.

I tried the website and it is no longer valid and I also tried the wayback
machine and didn't find it there.

If anyone as copy of these and is willing to share, I would very much
appreciate it.  Or if you want to share what you do in the first month of
school, I would love that also.

I am starting a new position traveling to 3 K-6 elementary schools.  I got
into all three schools last week and was disappointed to find no files from
the previous person.
