In response to people's questions about "how you did it?", OELMA has posted an overview of our path to the new Ohio legislation on the advocacy page. There are two items you will want to look at. The first is the /*time line */which can be downloaded in a Word document. In it, we have noted key strategies. The second is a link to our /*talking points */on the */wiki /*we have been using this spring. http://www.oelma.org/Ohio.htm Most people asked for arguments and key words and phrases, but I think it is important to note that this has been a building process that we have been working on for nearly ten years. Many factors have contributed, especially the governor's decision to radically reform education. Work and preparation came together with opportunity.
