Thank you so much for your collective wisdom on library cards. I had so many responses, I was overwhelmed with my choices. I finally went to the dollar store and and decided on the colored vinyl zippered pencil cases. I am going to have one per class with the cards rubberbanded to take out for the teachers. I think this will be multi-purposed. I will have bookmarks already filed in each bag for classes, library pencils for my lessons if it calls for it, and post-its for reading strategy thinking if I give a reading strategy lesson. I found a colorful shoebox shaped plastic tub to keep them in. I just wanted to share this as so many of you so graciously and freely gave me your ideas.
