Please spread the word: We are pleased to announce that White House CTO
Aneesh Chopra along with Chairman Rick Boucher, House Telecom
Subcommittee, will participate in State of the Net West in Santa Clara,
CA on August 5. Along with Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren and Congressman
Robert Goodlatte these leading technology policymakers will explore the
latest issues in Internet policy during a half day round of panel
discussions and presentations. Please join us and spread the word
(Attendance is complimentary).

(500 El Camino Real, Santa Clara, California)

* 9:00 am - 2:30 pm in the California Mission Room at the Benson Center,
Networking Luncheon Served in the Mission Gardens

Please join the Members of Congress Zoe Lofgren, Rick Boucher, and
Robert Goodlatte, along with academic scholars, public interest
advocates and industry executives for discussion on top technology
policy issues. The discussion is designed as a channel for West Coast
thought leaders from the academic community and private sector to help
inform the technology policy issues debated in Washington and better
reflect the fast-paced evolution of the marketplace.

Representatives Zoe Lofgren, Rick Boucher, and Bob Goodlatte will lead
the discussions; however the format allows for dynamic interactions
among all the participants. We encourage you to invite peers and
colleagues to this attend this active forum on topics such as:

"Immigration's Impact on Innovation"
"Broadband in America"
"Internet Privacy" 
"Antitrust and the New Administration"
"The Republican High Tech Agenda"
