My principal just last Friday asked me if our school (going into Title 1 status during the next school year) meets requirements on number of library books per student under Title 1 regulations. I did not have an immediate answer and promised to research it. After a good deal of internet research, I'm still without an answer. I've been to the government site and ALA's, have read several online articles about school libraries and Title 1, and have poked around in LM_NET's archives. Does anyone on this list know of such a Title 1 regulation or where I might find this information? Thanks.
